The Geek-o-sphere and Disney fansites were rocked this morning by the release of Disney’s upcoming “Maleficent” starring Angelina Jolie.

Fans are eager to see Disney’s live-action interpretation of the back story of one of the Magic Kingdom’s most notorious villains. How did a beautiful protector of the forests become the wicked fairy who cursed a girl, and a kingdom, to eternal slumber? We’ll all find out on May 30, 2014.
