To follow up the teaser from yesterday, Man Of Steel 2 director Zack Snyder posted this photo he took of Ben Affleck as he will appear as Batman in the Warner Bros. sequel.

The photo is dark and moody, fitting for the character- but not so great for fans eager to get a good look at the new Batsuit. The overall feel is very reminiscent of the design from Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns”, which also features an older Bruce Wayne taking on Superman.

We will no doubt be seeing more teases like this in the future- what with several high profile DC Universe characters rumored to make appearances in the sequel- Wonder Woman, Cyborg, possibly Aquaman and others.
