Straight from Totoro-san’s mouth guys: Pacific Rim will be back!

Today, Guillermo del Toro announced that not only will we get a sequel to the 2013 film, but he’s also working on an animated series, and a follow up to the comic book prequel!

That’s a LOT of kaiju vs. jaeger action!

As you know, we here at AG are big Pacific Rim fans- we even have our own giant robot! (seen at right) We are all tingly at the prospect of more from del Toro’s universe- there was a LOT of material that got left out from the films- jaegers, kaiju, all sorts of technology and stories that are just itching to be explored!

While we may not see Idris Elba suit up once more on the big screen, we’ll hopefully get more of Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day in 2017!
