Marvel Studios is really continuing the hype train for it’s film and television projects.
With the success of “Guardians of the Galaxy” (which, sadly was beaten 2 weeks in a row by Michael Bay’s TMNT), the comics-turned-movie moguls have turned their eyes to the fall, and this year- we’re getting some fresh new faces on both screens.
Earlier today, Marvel Studios tweeted a first look of actor Paul Rudd as Scott Lang from the upcoming “Ant-Man”. It’s not a shot of him in the Pym-powered Ant-Man suit, but a photo of a hoodie-wearing Lang in front of the nearby Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

On the small screen, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has been adding some big names to the roster for their second season- including “Twin Peaks” star Kyle McLaughlin and super-star warrior princess Lucy Lawless of “Xena” fame.

To Cast A Mockingbird
Today, they announced the addition of Adrianne Palicki (most recently in “GI Joe: Retaliation”) as SHIELD Agent Bobbi Morse- better known to comics fan as “Mockingbird”. Fans are thrilled with the choice, both in terms of the actress, who has proven her action and drama chops, and that another female hero is joining the ranks. What this means for a possible Hawkeye appearance on AOS is still up to speculation.
