Associated Geekery Episode #69

“I Thought It Was Funny.”

So radical, so risky, so dangerous, so goddamn crazy…

Hey everyone- welcome to Associated Geekery #69!

This week, we’re going freestyle and discussing whatever comes to mind!

Carrie participated in the Disney Avengers 1/2 Marathon this past weekend, and that leads to discussion about Disney stuff.

The conversation then steers into a review of the newly released film, Interstellar.

We ramble on a bit about the Dragon Age games, since none of us have played Inquisition yet.

And after some other incoherent babbling on, we talk about #GamerGaters and their new champion, video game enthusiast and disbarred lawyer, Jack Thompson!

Recommendations this week are: British music group Bastille, Garth Marenghi’s DarkPlace, and Batman ’66 on Blu-ray/DVD!

What did you guys do this week? Let us know here or on our Facebook page! You can like and share the page with your friends and family! You can also follow us on Twitter (and retweet!) and check us out on Tumblr (and reblog!)!

  1. I hereby dub myself Steve1 or Steve Supreme or maybe Steveo Supremo, as I have murdered the other 12 listeners in my quest to watch The Book of Life.
