CW has our first look at the live-action version of Vixen, who will be appearing on Arrow shortly! We hope she’s ready for Oliver and Company!
Meanwhile, BBC confirms that Steven Moffat retiring as showrunner for Doctor Who. With additional rumors of Peter Capaldi’s departure, this is a real shift in the story of the time-travelling do-gooder. Oh, and catch the show on Netflix while you can- it leaves as of February 1st.

While we may not be particularly enthused for DC’s next (few) films, we were also not surprised when it was announced that the sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar film will be delayed well beyond Winter of 2017- perhaps they believe that space to be crowded by a galaxy far, far away?
Marvel’s lead Patriotic Hero game will be getting a bit more crowded again, as they’ve announced that Steve Rogers will be de-aged and re-powered as Captain America just in time for the character’s 75th anniversary. Where does that leave current Cap Sam Wilson? Well, Marvel states that both will retain the title, for now.
And in even more unbelievable, yet believable news, DC announced yet ANOTHER relaunch with all new #1 issues, this time to bring hit titles more in line with their movie counterparts. We’ll see how long that lasts.
Finally, there’s been a lot of buzz around the “Star Trek: Axanar” fan-film, but this time, CBS and Paramount have taken legal action against the filmmakers, which may spell doom for the venture, and their plans for a studio of their own.
Recommendations this week are: video games the Mega Man game pack on X-box Live and Star Wars: Before the Awakening by Greg Rucka!
